We Are All Innocent
Day 4 of the vacation and it's still pretty darn good. Tiffany is playing Mario Kart Wii right now and I'm writing this. Blake and Josh should be over in about an hour, and we're going to be the super dorks we are and go to Big Dick's to play some videogames. There's just something special (and incredibly nerdy) about three big screen televisions side-by-side all with Call of Duty 4 set up in HD. So yeah, we're going to pick up a couple Warm & Ready (or Hot & Wait-a-Little-While) pizzas and we're ready to geek it out.
Watched the Idols on Larry King Live last night, that was fairly entertaining. David Cook is a really nice guy and very articulate, which is always good, especially in today's world. (By coincidence, I started this out listening to "Innocent" by Our Lady Peace, and the next song the came on with Shuffle was "The World I Know" by Collective Soul-both of which Cook covered on Idol.) David Archuleta was his usual "gee-golly-garsh" self, and it was good to see the other top 10 or 12 or whatever. I'm looking forward to some music by David Cook. We downloaded his album that was very briefly on Amazon, called Analog Heart, and it's okay, but you can tell it's very garage. But what I'm really looking forward to is when he has some money behind his album. Back to Larry King Live though, it was cool to see Cook defend Carly last night too, if you didn't see it you should check it out.
Yesterday, Tiff and I rented a few games from the new Family Video location on 122nd and Rockwell. It's a pretty nice store, plus for the first 30 days of your membership you get all rentals at half-off. So we rented three games for 5 nights and it was only $11 or so. Not bad at all. We rented Spider-Man: Friend or Foe for Xbox 360, it's really fun for two people, in the style of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and other games like that. In fact, it's probably more comparable to X-Men: Legends. We also rented Mario Party 8 and Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga for Wii. Mario Party is fun as always, and LSW is okay. It's fun for a very short time but at the same time it's also pretty frustrating. In fact it might be more fun to play single-player because you don't have your partner keeping you from going where you want to go and vice-versa.
I just realized that in order to do this whole shindig I need to pack up my 360 and such, so I'm going to stop here and do that. Thanks for reading, and I'll never believe that you read it if you don't comment, so DO IT.
