Xenorye's Abyss
Ramblings of a man who's egotistical yet humble,
tired yet lively, hateful yet loving, unpleasant yet fun,
and most of all...
...awesome.

People tell me that my personality is divided. I don't think so, but maybe it is.

I think I have the new layout updated and fixed to where it won't go away again. I apologize to anyone who saw it in its nastiness of black and white. So it's a wonderful Wednesday night or something and I'm sitting here updating this blog and watching V for Vendetta with the wife and the mother-in-law. I love this movie. I really wish it was being shown in fantabulous, glorious HD, but alas it is not on the HD channel. Lame. If you haven't seen this movie you really need to.

I'm pretty tired today. Work lasted forever of course. I know that if I went into it with a better attitude about being at work it would probably help a little bit. I just can't bring myself to look at it in any more positive of a light as I have been. I think I'm feeling something well beyond burnout. I spent a bit of time today browsing around for other jobs on monster.com and at other insurance companies' websites. I wouldn't mind working in insurance at all, but I really need to be out of a call center, I think. I just need to be off of the phones. If I knew that very soon I was going to be at a job at The Hartford that didn't involve being tied to that stupid, unrelenting phone, it would be a completely different story. Granted, I would really like to be able to earn some more money, but I don't know what it would be if it was just a small promotion. I'm just really confused about where I am right now and I'm not sure what to do. I suppose all there really is to do is just pray about it and let God take me where I need to be.

Anyways, on a lighter note, Gemma Hayes has come out with a new album that I'm downloading at the moment. I haven't heard anything off of it, but I absolutely loved her first two albums so I'm looking forward to listening to this one.

Sorry for the slightly uninspired post today. I guess I'm just really tired and ready to go to sleep or something. Hope you all are doing well. Comment and let me know. Oh and also let me know what you think of the new layout.

Oh, and by the way Matthew, Tiffany even said that she's not more interesting than me and that she would have nothing to say that other people would want to read about. So looks like you're stuck with my blog, which is, by the way, incredibly superior to yours.

P.S. Bonus points to whoever can name who said the quote that makes up my Title today, and where it comes from.

Good luck on looking for the new jobby job. Finding stuff that pays more is the hardest part. I think you'll do fine. But would you move if you had to? Some of those good jobs may not be here.

V for Vendetta is a great movie. I like natalie portman in it....other than her lips are so big it looks like someone sucker punched her in the face. I wish actresses would stop doing that to their lips.

You'll figure out where you need to be bud. You always do.

BTW... I do believe Cloud Strife said it in FFVII?

    That's my guess anyway.
