If You Start Me Up, I'll (possibly) Never Stop
I hate the Rolling Stones. I can't stand their stupid oldness or their stupid old music. Except for "Paint it Black." That song rocks. But yeah just about everything else by them is not up my alley. I'm definitely more of a Beatles guy myself. Speaking of, why is it that with a lot of preferences, society makes it to where you have to be one or the other? For instance, Beatles or Stones? John Lennon or Paul McCartney (I'm a cheater, I don't take sides on this one)? Well, those are the only two I can think of off the top of my head. Whatever.
So I'm just sitting here, sharing my bed with four others. Luckily, Samwise, Champ, and Max tend to all lean on or on top of Tiffany while we're in bed, so I get to enjoy a little bit of space. In about 56 minutes, it will be officially one year from the date I last posted in this blog. Which is funny because a few posts before that it had been something like a year and half since I had posted. I used to update my blog (back then it was the coolest--Livejournal) all the time. Sometimes I would even update it multiple times per day with just nonsense that at the time I thought was important. One thing I'm sure you all know about me though is that I feel anything going on in my life is important and you should totally care about it.
Sunday marks my one-year anniversary with Tiffany. Everyone says the first year is a pretty tough year, but honestly it hasn't been very bad. I mean, of course we've had troubles and quarrels and stupid little arguments. That happens quite often, but it's never too big of a deal. To celebrate, we were going to go to Kansas City and hang out for a few days next week, but instead we've decided we're just going to stay in and be bums.
Our anniversary gift to each other was a Nintendo Wii. We've totally been having a blast with that so far. We got Mario Kart Wii and Wii Play, of course along with Wii Sports. I've also borrowed Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Mario Galaxy. It's loads of fun and I definitely recommend it to anyone. Also, if you want to play any of these games online let me know and we'll exchange Friend Codes (which, by the way, is the worst way in the world right now to play online, but oh wells, it's all we got for Wii).
I only have to work four more days until my vacation starts. I can't wait. Work seems to drag on and on for me more and more every day. It's pretty hard for me to get up and go to work every day, and even harder for me to sit at work the entire time and take stupid phone call after stupid phone call. But, I have a job and it pays me fairly well (I guess) and I get a whole lot of paid time off. Trying to keep things in perspective a little bit there.
Well now that I've bored most of you to tears (if you've even made it this far), I suppose I'll stop. Check back for more later. I might bring back the song updates if I actually sit and listen to music while I'm updating this, but no promises. Also, leave a comment if you'd like so I know someone is reading. Hope all is well, see you all later.
